Cédric is a lawyer and recognized authority on frontline negotiation, specializing in high-stakes interactions with state and non-state actors in critical crisis situations.
With over two decades of dedicated humanitarian service, he has successfully negotiated access to aid for the most vulnerable in conflict zones around the world, respecting universal principles of humanity. His extensive experience spans more than 15 years on the front line in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Cédric’s expertise in leading multidisciplinary teams has been instrumental in coordinating global responses to humanitarian crises. He has successfully orchestrated numerous crisis units, demonstrating his exceptional skills in managing complex emergency situations, including delicate and strategic negotiations linked to the resolution of kidnappings.

FARID JEAN CHRABIEH
Farid is a senior professional international negotiator and a recognized expert in crisis management, high-stakes negotiations, complex humanitarian mediations, risk management and risk prevention. A dedicated humanitarian with 18 years of international experience in the field, he has led numerous missions around the world, notably in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, mainly in difficult contexts, war-torn countries, including active combat zones and front lines.
Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of Chrabieh & Schweizer Consultancy, Farid provides operational and consultancy services in the fields of security and crisis management, complex negotiations and mediation. He is a former hostage incident management adviser for the ICRC and coordinator of its hostage negotiation team, the first in the organization’s history, which he co-founded, trained and mentored.
Farid has been awarded the UNITAR/ADN “Best Negotiator of the Year” award for 2023, a prestigious distinction given to an outstanding negotiator who has demonstrated exemplary skills and achievements on the international stage. Selected by a renowned international jury of eminent negotiators and leaders, the award honors an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity and resilience in navigating complex negotiations and finding peaceful solutions to global problems.

Her work at the highest levels of government, including in the Press Office of the Presidential Palace of Peru, has given her invaluable insight into high-stakes communication and crisis response, strengthening her ability to shape public narratives in complex political landscapes.
Dafne’s unique expertise extends to designing impactful communication strategies under pressure, particularly in crisis situations and with vulnerable communities. As Head of Communication for the International Committee of the Red Cross, she developed persuasive communication frameworks in challenging environments marked by armed conflict, social upheaval, and humanitarian crises. Her work is distinguished by a precise contextual analysis and a deep understanding of target audiences, paired with a powerful narrative style that mobilizes concrete, positive action.
In addition to her public sector experience, Dafne has worked extensively in corporate crisis management, focusing on creating communication projects that resonate and effect real change. She has a proven track record in persuading diverse audiences, from government officials to indigenous communities, leveraging strategic content to foster trust and drive engagement.
